The Church must be engaged in the communities we are called to serve.  To be engaged, however, we must be informed. The Christ, Community & Civics (C3) Ministry at The Cross Ministry equips the community to act as a body informed citizens that actively engage in civics and advocacy based in biblical truth, exhibiting Christ-like character.  It is our aim to equip the church to heal divides, educate in righteousness, and otherwise fill the informational & advocacy gaps in our community.

Christ is the way, the truth and the life.  The Church, true community and government are all His creation.
Therefore, we look to be guided by and adhere to His standards as we engage in all three.

Christ called us to live in community. After all, He left His Church here to be a light and to be witnesses to the world. How we live and engage in community matters because we are called & purposed to make a life-changing, undeniable & eternal impact on the world!

Government is from God and, in a democratic society, we have a responsibility to increase righteous leaders (those who would lead God's way), as well as pray for ALL leaders.  We are called to be active citizens who learn to do right, seek justice, defend the oppressed and plead the cause of the defenseless (Isaiah 1:17)
